Good evening dear,
I tried to make a simple timeline for a better understanding of the full process. There is some links I added right after the timeline.
Before D-Day
You apply for a Long Stay Visa. It takes around 15 working days to get it, you may need some documents from me (my house bills and my wage for example).
D-Day
You arrive in France with the Long Stay Visa valid for one year. You will be able to settle down with me to my flat. Then we can start prepare several documents: Having your name on the electricity bills and your name on the flat contract. Getting you a sim card with your name at the flat address, etc...
Getting prepared for marriage
Preparing together our marriage ♥
How / Where / When / Who / etc
Marriage
The very best day of our life.
6 months after Marriage (One year since your arrival)
That's 6 month living together and one year for you living in France: You will be able to apply for a new type of Long Stay Visa with a validity period of 2 years.
3 years after your arrival
This time, if you apply another time, your visa will be valid for 10 years.
5 years after your arrival
You can officialy become French.
